| Golf - The lack of tee times is one of the great benefits as a member of Cedar Ridge. With a limited membership, there is very rarely a waiting time to play. Cedar Ridge is a premier golf course, placing a premium on golfing excellence. The LPGA players consistently touted Cedar Ridge Country Club in their Top 3, calling it "tough but Fair", and ranked us Number 1 for Extensive Practice Areas. The championship golf course is an 18 hole, 71 par course. It's been described as one of the most demanding courses when it comes to distance and accuracy. The greens average 6,000 square feet and are strategically placed among thousands of mature trees that dot the landscape around Little Haikey Creek, which runs through the heart of the course. Still, it is a course for all levels of play, the amateur to the professional, the ladies as well as the men. You will enjoy the outstanding practice area and have the opportunity to use every club as you practice perfecting your game, putting, chipping, driving, and sand wedge. In 2007., the Buddy Phillips' Learning Center opened, a state of the art 4 bay facility. It gives our members the opportunity to practice in all weather and take lessons from Tracy Phillips, Director of Instruction or one of our other qualified pros. Cedar Ridge also has a very active Women's Golf Association and Junior Golf Program. |
